22, 1995, at Good Samaritan Hospice. Born Jan. 15, 1906, in Zanesville, he was a retired upholsterer and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans. Surviving are three nephews, Walter Fisher of Newark, John Fisher of Florida and Leslie Wells Florida; three nieces, Sara Winn of Philo, Ann Zimmerman of Columbus and Ruth Hutchins of California; and numerous great-nephews and great-nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas M.

and Mary Parker Fisher; his wife, Mary Alice Mason Fisher, who died in 1971; an infant daughter, Ruth Fisher; three brothers, Miles Fisher, Lloyd Fisher and Orville Fisher; and two sisters, Mary and Lillian Wells. 5 break-in of co*ke machine on Maysville MUSKINGUM COUNTY Nov. 22 Record Owen Baker, 87 CALDWELL Frank Owen Baker, 87, of Willow Arms Apartments, Caldwell, died Tuesday morning, Nov. 21, 1995, at Selby General Hospital in Marietta. Born Feb. 25, 1908, near Elba, he had worked in Canton from 1942 to 1946 and had owned and operated Baker's Grocery Store 1 in South Olive for many years.

Following retirement, he was employed as a meat cutter for 12 years at Ball's Market in Caldwell. He was a member of Ogle's Ridge Community Church near Middleburg, where he served as song leader and was a member of Norble County Senior Citizens. Surviving are a sister, Arminta J. Lee of Whipple; brothers-in-law, Wayne Schilling Sr. of Levittown, Pa, who had been Mr.

Baker's caregiver for the last year, and Thomas Schilling of Holly Hill, a sisterin-law, Edith Reign of Ormond Beach, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, David Elvin and Annie Elizabeth Phelps Baker; his wife, Goldie M. Schilling Baker, whom he married in 1934 and who died March 21, 1993; two sisters; and a brother. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 09 p.m. Friday, Nov.

William L. Grove, 59 LONDON William L. "Bill" Grove, 59, of McConnelsville, died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 1995, at Marietta Memorial Hospital after an extended battle with heart disease. Born Jan.

28, 1936, in London, he worked in the harness racing business, where he trained and drove race horses for a number of years. He also worked and retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation in McConnelsville and was a member of the Malta United Methodist Church. He enjoyed coaching kids in the local little league sports program. Surviving are his mother, Ersel Grove of McConnelsville; his wife of 41 years, Chere' J. Grove of McConnelsville; a son, William K.

Grove of McConnelsville; two daughters, Diana S. Cordray of Pickerington and Kimberly A. Hanlin of Lockport, N.Y.; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth L. Grove.

Born May 24, 1930, in Coshocton County, he was a 1948 graduate of Conesville High School and a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Coshocton.
