This week, we announce another Gripen for the flying display, with the Hungarian Air Force sending their solo display to RIAT 2024! Elsewhere, we have an assortment of aircraft from the Jordan joining us at RAF Fairford in July. Starting with a pair of F-16s to join our 50th anniversary ‘Viper Line’ on static display, plus their C-130 Hercules. Our loyal friends, the Royal Jordanian Falcons, will also be performing in the flying display. Finally, as they celebrate their 50th anniversary this year, the Qatar Emiri Air Force will be sending examples of their Typhoon, Hawk, NH90 and C-17 Globemaster to all be exhibited together on static display. We’re excited to announce that the Patrouille Suisse display team are heading to RAF Fairford this summer! Joining us in July for what is their only planned UK appearance this year, the Swiss display team join an exciting mix of aircraft in the flying display. The German Air Force will also be participating in the flying display at the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT), with solo displays from their Eurofighter and A400M.On the ground, celebrating 75 years of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO), the Germans will contribute an Airbus A319, Panavia Tornado and Sikorsky CH-53G. Containing the NATO theme, we’re pleased that a E-3A Sentry operated by the NATO Airborne Early Warning and Control Force will be appearing at the show this year. Finally, as part of our Pushing the Boundaries in Air and Space theme, we’re very excited to be welcoming a Panavia Tornado from the German Air Force’s special Flight Test unit, WTD 61. Aircraft celebrating Slovenia and Canada make up this week’s announcement, with debutants and an award-winning display heading to RAF Fairford. A pair of Pilatus PC-9Ms and a C-27J Spartan will be joining us from our European counterparts, with one of the PC-9Ms performing in the flying display. Ina addition, we have a De Havilland Vampire and Chipmunk on static display in recognition of the Royal Canadian Air Force’s centenary.
